RCI Tabung Haji | An Opinion

Reading the RCI report on Tabung Haji makes me feel very sad and disappointed. Tabung Haji is a special institution for Muslims because many people trust it with their savings for Hajj. When issues about management and governance are reported, it can create worry and reduce public confidence.

The report shows why honesty and responsibility are very important. An organisation that manages public funds must always be careful, transparent, and accountable. People work hard to save their money, so they expect it to be protected and managed properly.

I also feel concerned for the depositors who may be affected by the findings in the report. Many of them trusted the institution for many years. Any problem that affects trust can have a big impact on the feelings and confidence of the public.

However, I hope the lessons from the report will lead to positive improvements. The focus should now be on stronger governance, better transparency, and protecting the interests of depositors. With sincere reforms and responsible leadership, public trust can be rebuilt over time.
